Rebuild Rinjani

We help local residents around the foothills of Mount Rinjani, Lombok recover from the devastating earthquakes of 2018 by rebuilding their homes and schools. Percentage of profits will be pushed forward to the efforts of Rubbish Free Rinjani, to keep trails clean and enjoyable.

Pictured below is a moment from the day of distributing housewarming gifts to one of the villages we rebuilt homes in. As of Nov 2021, it will be 27 months without a proper home for thousands of families in North Lombok Regency.

In August 2018, multiple earthquakes rocked and destroyed villages in North Lombok, affecting those around the foot of the infamous mountain Rinjani hardest. With the Indonesian Government’s help, residents have been given “concession cards” to rebuild their homes. The only catch is they need to front the money, and on completion, residents are returned the amount. New homes are standardised and designed to be earthquake safe using less cement and bricks. We come in to purchase and manage supplies, speak with the local government and have a team of builders who can build strong homes quickly and efficiently.
